Dobrzeń Wielki is a large, communal village located a few kilometers north of Opole. On its territory, on the street called 'Stawy', there is a summer, free, guarded by WOPR lifeguards bathing area 'Balaton'. The water surface is about 1.5 hectares. The main, about 150-meter beach is located on the north-eastern shore. It is fine-sand, and in the eastern part grassy. At its shore we will find a water slide 'Anakonda', a wooden pier and 3 separate bathing zones: shallow, for children and people who cannot swim (red buoys), medium (yellow buoys) and deep (outside). During the holiday season, the place is besieged by beachgoers and tourists. The area belongs to the local government, which takes quite good care of cleanliness and order.
